1. The basics

Trove is a personal finance tracker made by Vroe Labs. By creating an account you agree to these terms. They're short because the product is young and we'd rather be clear than clever.

2. Trove is in testing

You're using an early version. Today that includes: adding and tracking transactions with receipts, budgets with progress tracking, savings goals with projections, subscription management with automatic renewal posting, reports you can export to PDF, CSV, and Excel, fast search across everything, and personal touches like themes and display currencies. It works, and we test it, but expect rough edges, occasional bugs, and features that evolve week to week.

3. What Trove is not

Trove is not a bank, broker, investment advisor, lender, or money transmitter. It never touches real money. It's a ledger for what you tell it. Nothing in the app is financial advice, and the numbers are only as good as the data you enter.

4. Your account

Keep your password safe and don't share your account. If you think someone else has access, email hello@trove.cool and we'll help. You can delete your account and every trace of your data from Settings at any time.

5. Fair use

Don't try to break the service, access data that isn't yours, overload our servers, or use Trove for anything illegal. That's the whole list.

6. Pricing during testing

Trove is free while in testing. If paid plans arrive later, we'll tell you clearly before anything ever charges you. No silent conversions.

7. Honest limitations

Trove is provided as-is during testing. We can't promise uninterrupted uptime, and while we protect your data seriously (see the Privacy Policy), a testing-phase app shouldn't be your only record of important financial information. To the extent the law allows, Vroe Labs' liability is limited to what you paid us, which during testing is nothing.

8. Endings

You can leave anytime. Delete your account in Settings and your data goes with you. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, with notice where reasonable.

9. Changes

As Trove grows out of testing these terms will grow with it. Material changes get announced by email before they take effect.
