Getting started

From sign-up to your first month of spending, in a few minutes.

1. Sign up

Email or Google. No card and no bank login. A short setup asks for your currency, your monthly income and, if you like, your accounts.

2. Add your spending

Three ways, all ending in a row you can check:

• Type or say it. "Zomato 450 upi yesterday" becomes a draft with the merchant, amount, payment method and date filled in.
• Import a statement. Drop a CSV, spreadsheet, PDF or receipt into the inbox. A language model reads it and lists what it found; nothing is saved until you confirm each row.
• Add by hand. The add button on every screen, or /transactions.

3. See your month

Home shows what you kept this month: income, spending and investing, and how you paid.

Next steps

• Set a budget for the categories you care about (/budgets).
• Check the renewals Trove found in your history (/subscriptions).
• Ask a question about your own money (/ask), such as "Where did my money go in April?" The figures come from Trove's arithmetic, not from the model.
